Liger, Vijay Deverakonda’s upcoming pan-Indian film, is about to be released. The Puri Jagannadh-directed film, whose August 25, 2022 release date has been set, also stars Ananya Panday as the lead female. Vijay Deverakkonda shared the movie’s poster and wrote: “A movie that consumed everything of me. My most difficult performing part was both psychologically and physically demanding. I give it all to you! Arriving shortly. Liger.” In the recently published poster, the Arjun Reddy actor is shown standing in a boxing ring, baring all, and holding a carefully arranged bouquet of roses in his palm.
In the film, Vijay Deverakonda will portray a kickboxer with a speech impediment. The trailer, which was made public in December, told the tale of a Mumbai street slumdog who rose to the top of the MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) sport. Along with the dubbed versions in Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam, the movie will be released in both Hindi and Telugu.
