plot

Performance

Naga Chaitanya performed well in the role of tailormade for him. He showed the right kind of emotions and expressions and tried to carry the film on his shoulders. He gets to don various phases of his life and plays all these roles with ease and we need to appreciate him for portraying these different shades superbly.

Performance

Raashi Khanna impresses with her emotional performance. She also shares a sizzling chemistry with Naga Chaitanya. Malavika Nair is okay. Prakash Raj brings value to the brief sequence he is in. Sai Sushanth Reddy does his part well. Avika Gor has also done her part well.

Direction/Technical Side

Vikram Kumar increased expectations when Naga Chaitanya teamed with him. Thank You struggled to impress because of its tired storyline. The film lacked an entertainment quotient, which draws audiences to the theaters or keeps them hooked. Though it seems like a feel-good movie, there is no punch in it.

Direction/Technical Side

Audiences are very familiar with these kinds of stories for quite sometime now. Thank You is an emotional journey of a person but those emotions are not carried out well on screen. Many expected Thank You to be completely novel but much to the surprise of all, the story turned out to be routine and predictable.

Direction/Technical Side

The background music is okay in parts, but the songs completely disappoint.PC Sriram has done quite impressive camera work. Naveen Nooli’s editing is fine considering the duration of the film.

verdict

Thank You seems like a feel-good movie, but lacks the required punch due to Predictability with these kinds of stories that we have already seen. Naga Chaitanya’s impressive performance was wasted by a weak story line! 2.5/5
