Performance

Kathir, once again, proved his mettle with this web series and the way he portrayed the emotions is something that his fans will cherish. Aishwarya Rajesh gets a fantastic intro which is in line with our mass heroes, but her role in the series keeps blowing hot and cold.

Blue Rings

Performance

Sriya Reddy is back with a bang and delivers a superb performance that has no complaints about it. Parthiban has got an amazing character to play. He played father of two daughters and the vengeance in him was shown well.

Blue Rings

While the first four episodes are directed by Bramma of Kuttram Kadithal fame, the rest are helmed by Kirumi director Anucharan. It spends a lot of time establishing the characters in an interesting way. And hence, we understand the psyche of the characters and why they do what they do.

Each of the episodes has enough smart ideas to mask the show’s imperfections. In a series in which everything and everyone is soldered together by past actions, some connections are either weaker than others or suppressed in order to deliver the next shocking twist.

Verdict

Except for a few minor flows, Suzhal is a gripping and complex thriller backed by a well written script (Kudos to Pushkar and Gayatri).
