A writer for an online news outlet discovers her niece’s bogus Facebook account, where she meets the Libyan youngster Aalim. On the other hand, the FBI is using Thaiyal Nayagi and her niece as a ruse to get Aalim into their custody.

Plot

Watching our beloved lady engage in some badass action would be something we all enjoy. This is a once-in-a-lifetime chance for Trisha fans to see their favorite leading woman in an action movie. In her role as Thaiyal Nayagi, Trisha did a respectable job.

Performances

After an absence of seven long years, M. Saravanan is back in the director’s chair with Raangi, an action movie with a strong female focus. AR Murugadoss wrote the movie’s story, and it’s puzzling that no one noticed the apparent problems with the premise. Being promoted as an action heroine by Trisha is a welcome shift at a time when people are accustomed to seeing heroes kick butts.

Direction / Technical Side

Trisha appears in a few action scenes where she engages the bad guys in combat in the manner of a hero. It is not sufficient for a movie to just have a heroine who is the main character and feminism-related dialogue. Another issue the film encountered at every turn was the logic. The first part sounded tolerable and logical enough. The second half, however, was so nonsensical that it was an affront to a journalist’s abilities and way of thinking.

Direction / Technical Side

The music by Sathya is passable but does little to improve the movie. The images of Uzbekistan were beautifully taken by cinematographer Shakthi. One of the great surprises is how artistically shot the climax stunt sequences are. It’s encouraging to see a female-centric movie produced to high standards on a global scale. The majority of the scenarios are interesting, but a few of them may lead viewers astray.

Direction / Technical Side

This film would have been a greater success regardless of the audience’s language proficiency if the screenwriting process had been conducted with greater care that connects well. As it stands, it is mediocre material the Director. Trisha’s presence on film would be a saving grace, if there is one. For Trisha lovers, this is a unique chance to see their favorite actress in an action movie. 📷📷📷
