Performance

Sivakarthikeyan, who is well-known for his comedy, perfectly fits the role and, as was predicted, wows the audience the entire time with his top-notch performance. He is in his element as Anbu, and he gives a performance that meshes with the level of humour in this film in his trademark manner.

Performance

Maria Ryaboshapka makes an amazing debut and excels in her role. She has a lovely appearance and she supports her personality. Despite having little to perform, she does her best. Although Sathyaraj, who has recently been portraying these comedic father roles, had good humor timing, the character’s weak scripting left little room for improvement.

Direction / Technical Side

Anudeep KV, a Telugu filmmaker, is making his debut in Kollywood with this film. There isn’t much of a storyline, and the plot is predictable. The movie heavily depends on wordplay and oddball one-liners. Prince couldn’t have been made to work this hard without Sivakarthikeyan.

Direction / Technical Side

When a director delivers a great hit like Jathi Ratnalu, audiences generally have high expectations for their subsequent film. Although he made an effort, he was unable to duplicate the enchantment of Prince. The hamlet setting and adjacent environs have been expertly produced, demonstrating the high quality of the film’s production. “Prince” is slightly more entertaining because to Thaman’s sweeping score.

VERDICT

Prince is a mixed-bag movie that can be enjoyed by individuals who like the great comic setup with a quick reward and who have the patience to relate to such a complex setup. Despite Sivakarthikeyan’s best efforts, the film’s weak plot prevents it from having much impact. Overall, Prince is a mediocre comedy movie. 2.5/5
