Plot

In Mumbai, Pachu manages an Ayurvedic pharmacy. He flies to Kerala for business purposes, but a humorous occurrence there forces him to postpone his flight back to Mumbai. The movie’s pivotal moment occurs at this point. Pachu is instructed to travel to Mumbai from Kerala with Ummachi, the mother of building owner Riyaz. Ummachi is a fearless woman who is on a mission that her son disapproves of.

Plot

While Pachu is dozing off, Ummachi stops in Goa on their way to Mumbai. Pachu, however, follows her to Hamsadhwani’s home in Goa. He learns that Ummachi wants to tutor Nidhi, who is from a lower socioeconomic class. At Riyaz’s home, Naani, the mother of Nidhi, worked as a maid. At that point, Ummachi recognizes Nidhi’s academic prowess.

Plot

She desires to provide her with a quality education. But for various reasons, the mother-daughter team departs for their ancestral home in Goa. Ummachi is now enticing Pachu with money in order to carry out her purpose. The three women’s life undergoes changes as a result of Pachu, which is the plot.

Performances

You are drawn into the plot by Fahadh’s charismatic performance as Pachu. As the title character, the actor is natural. Pachu’s strengths and weaknesses are protected by the actor’s performance in Fahadh.

Performances

In the movie, Althaf Salim, who plays Pachu’s pharmacy assistant, forms a lethal combination with him. With regard to comedy in the movie, Althaf’s antics, reactions, and one-liners made him the best. Viji Venkatesh portrays a mature lady in a significant part, which is one of the film’s most refreshing aspects. Rajan, the father of Pachu, is played by Mukesh. For the seasoned actor, it’s a piece of cake. Anjana Jayaprakash, a debutante, is wonderful.

Direction / Technical Side

Pachuvum Athbuthavilakkum, Akhil Sathyan’s directorial debut, gives the impression of taking place in a familiar environment that we have grown accustomed to seeing in the later works of his father Sathyan Anthikad. The plot was also written by Akhil, who demonstrates a talent for developing likable supporting characters.

Direction / Technical Side

This anecdote naturally conveys the film’s central theme—that of girls’ education and the resulting change in society—as well as the idea that showing compassion may go a long way. One of the film’s highlights is how smoothly Akhil, who also wrote the script and oversaw the editing, did this, using Pachu and his voyage to weave a tale with touching moments and a clear social message.

Direction / Technical Side

The movie delivers a satisfying and delightful experience, but it fails in few other ways. The first half hardly ever discusses the actual plot, despite having plenty of scenes that cause viewers’ faces to wrinkle. The Goa locale gives the movie a new flavour.

Direction / Technical Side

Although the ending is predictable, the journey there is interesting. Sharan Velayudhan’s stunning photography, which captures the various landscapes while making them all appear happy and upbeat, adds to the feel-good quality of the film. Additionally, Justin Prabhakaran’s music is soothing to the ear.

Verdict

What draws you into the plot right away is Fahadh’s charisma as Pachu. Using Pachu and his journey to create a story with heartwarming moments and a strong social message is one of the film’s highlights. Overall; Pachuvum Athbuthavilakkum, Akhil Sathyan’s first film as a filmmaker, is a feel-good film with practically all the ingredients needed to captivate families that go to the theatre.
