Suraj skillfully strikes a balance between Madanan’s helplessness and innocence, demonstrating once more that he can handle physical humour without making it look slapstick and giving the role more depth. The adaptation of a short story by E Santhosh Kumar is the movie Madanolsavam. In order to create a decent family film, director Sudheesh Gopinath expertly combined politics, satire, and comedy. The primary high point of the film is writing. While presenting a political satire, Ratheesh tries to use humor. He made sarcastic use of political party themes in his previous films as well.

There are sporadic instances from time to time that doesn’t really elicit much laughter, despite the writer’s ability to keep you interested in the developments. Even though the climax scene is humorous, it was a little predictable and the laughs were not as high as one could have anticipated.

Additionally, the author has written about political parties’ abandonment of supporters after polling victories. Additionally, there aren’t enough memorable, sincere laughs throughout the film. Nevertheless, Madanolsavam does not constitute a drag of a comedy. Shehnad Jalal’s cinematography, combined with the local language spoken by the characters, perfectly captures the splendor of a Kasargod village.

The narrative of the film is not wholly original, but it is made intriguing by the humor that is added to this political satire. Overall, a strong first half and an okay second half, both highlighted by strong efforts by Suraj Venjaramoodu and the team, make for an above-average experience.
