Childhood pals Shetty (Nagabhushana), Arjun Nagapappa (Darling Krishna), and Anu are. Anu asks Arjun whether he would marry her in place of an arranged marriage when faced with the possibility, and he agrees. He eventually comes to the realization that, contrary to popular belief, you cannot make your best friend your wife. He chooses to file for divorce since he feels that Meera (Roshni Prakash) is the one with whom he truly belongs. Arjun, however, meets someone who offers him the chance to start again with his life the way he wants to. This happens at the family court. Does Anu rule Arjun’s heart or will Meera be the source of his eternal happiness?

The movie features Puneeth as God. This enables the creators to include a number of meta references to his persona, popularity among the general public, and references from his well-known flicks. When Puneeth appears on screen, it’s enjoyable to watch him since he clearly enjoys playing the god.

Performance

Krishna, the actor, gives a thorough show. He is a fantastic fit for every aspect of the role, whether it be that of a friend, lover, or husband. Roshini Prakash impresses in a significant role, and Sangeetha Sringeri turns in a mature performance. With their comedic timing, Sadhu Kokila and Nagabhushan take full advantage of the situation. As Arjun’s father-in-law, Rangayana Raghu masterfully conveys all the emotions.

Performance

In his maiden foray into direction, Nagendra Prasad is successful in getting everyone’s attention. In terms of romantic comedies in Kannada film, Lucky Man is still a few notches above the competition. The central concept is original, even though it isn’t entirely new, which leaves opportunity for some exciting scenes and presents contemporary romance in a more nuanced way.

Direction / Technical Side

The movie moves rapidly and is fairly engrossing in the first half. The second half, however, not only moves slowly but also quite slowly. The pre-climax of the movie picks up speed again, and the movie concludes happily. Manju Mandavya’s dialogues give the script value. An additional draw are a few good songs by V2 Vijay Vicky, particularly the dance routine with Puneeth and Prabhudeva.

Direction / Technical Side

Verdict; Lucky Man is able to provide intriguing viewpoints on friendship, marriage, love, and life without deviating from the original plot. This movie feels like a proper sendoff for the celebrity. Everyone still remembers and loves Puneeth Rajkumar!
