For his 67th movie, now titled Thalapathy 67, Vijay has reconnected with filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj. Although the Master duo’s return has not been officially announced, everything is proceeding flawlessly. Additionally, Sanjay Dutt, Trisha, Gautham Menon, Mysskin, and Priya Anand appear in Thalapathy 67. Currently, the biggest news is the possibility of casting Kannada actor Rakshit Shetty. The most recent big story in Kollywood was Vijay’s attendance at director Atlee’s wife Priya’s baby shower. Following the completion of his project with director Lokesh Kanagaraj, Vijay is reportedly going to work with Atlee.
Both the actor and the director may be working together for the first time on the movie, which is rumored to be a Tamil-Telugu bilingual, with the famed Mythri Movie Makers production company. Unconfirmed sources state that the banner’s representatives recently met with Vijay and Atlee to discuss the potential for a partnership. Previous rumors said that Sun Pictures, owned by Kalanithhi Maran, will produce this film, which had a staggering budget of more than Rs 300 crore.
