Gist of the Story
When Sarayu enters his life and reawakens his long-forgotten longing for romantic connections, Bala Subramanyam, also known as Balu, a devout middle-class guy, finds himself at a crossroads. Will Balu and Sarayu be successful in overcoming the challenges they faced?
Detailed Plot
While coping with the ordinary challenges of maintaining a middle-class family, Balu (Sree Vishnu) works at a nice multiplex. His dad Uma Mahesh (VK Naresh) inherits property, however, it may only be passed if the latter receives a degree certificate. And for the past 25 years, it has remained an unfinished mission. Balu grows frugal, honest, and ambitious traits in light of the long-term repercussions. He resolves to decline females’ offers of romantic engagement. Balu was the family’s primary provider of income, hence he was unable to afford this extravagance. Every female was treated as his sister, and he had them tie rakhi. When Reba Monica’s character Jaan enters his life at this time, she catches him in her arms and kisses him passionately, arousing all of his sensory spots. The difficulty for the hero in accepting Reba’s marriage proposal is explored in the second part of the film. The mystery that awaits you is if his father will pass Uma Mahesh’s degree test and inherit the land in the family name.
Artistes’ Performances
In the movie, Sree Vishnu is excellent. His comedic timing is spot on, and his delivery of the amusing line sparks a lot of shenanigans. It’s wonderful to see how he has been presented as a hilarious man. But in this case, veteran actor Naresh is the star. He is amusing as a college student. In the first half, he had excellent chemistry with Sree Vishnu in each of their sequences. On her debut, Reba Monica John was able to win everyone over. She does well playing the part of a cheery, attractive female. The best part of the movie is her on-screen chemistry with Sree Vishnu. She appeared lovely in a few instances and appropriate for the character of the girl next door.
Direction / Technical Side
Samajavaragamana is written and directed by Ram Abbaraju, who is well known for the film Vivaha Bhojanambu. A fam-com, or a romantic comedy with family components, “Samajavaragamana” is. The storyline twist distinguishes the movie from other rom-coms even if that is what it is largely about. Samajavaragamana is interesting from the start. The film’s setup and character introductions are humorous in and of itself. The movie turns out to be a giggle riot even when people are already seated in cinemas. Comedy is a genre that everyone can appreciate. The first half makes spectators laugh out loud. The sequences are engaging, and the relationship between the leads is a strong asset to the movie. The first half moments with a father and son are funny. Naresh VK enters the room quickly. The tale and storytelling naturally include comedy. The director left his stamp in this area. Watching the interval twist is definitely worthwhile. This provides the narrative with a twist. The film’s basic theme—the bond between the hero and heroine—helped newbie director Ram Abbarajau keep viewers’ attention till the very end. The cinematography by Raam Reddy is nice, and the score by Gopi Sundar elevates a few scenes in places. The editing by Chota K Prasad is neat, and he could have trimmed a few repetitive scenes.
Verdict;
Samajavaragamana features a humorous setup, engaging sequences, and strong relationships between leads. The interval twist adds a twist to the narrative. Overall; Samajavaragamana is a near-perfect brainless comedy with all elements to keep you engaged.
