Priyadarshan – Mohanlal Duo’s Olavum Theeravum wrapped up!

Dynamic duo Mohanlal and Priyadarshan have reunited for their next anthology, and filming for their segment Olavum Theeravum has wrapped up. The Olavaum Theeravum segment is a retelling of the 1970 classic of the same name, directed by PN Menon. MT Vasudevan Nair wrote the screenplay for the film based on the 1957 novel of the same name. In Priyadarshan’s film, Mohanlal plays the lead role of Bhapati, which Madhu wrote in the original film. Durga Krishna (Vimanam, Udal) is the female leader. Harish Pelady and Mamkoya will also try other lead roles.

Larettan is also famous for the risks he takes for the movies, among many other obvious reasons. Mohanlal is doing his Olavum Theeravum shoot. This is the upcoming Priyadarshan project in heavy rain, the video of which is now going viral on the internet. Veteran Santosh Sivan directed the film’s lens and award-winning production team, along with his designer Sub Cyril. Now, according to the latest reports, Olavum Theeravum was made in black and white format. According to sources, director Priyadarshan and cinematographer Santosh Sivan wanted to preserve the essence of Olavum Theeravum, first released in 1970. This was the reason for the team’s decision to shoot Mohanlal Star, who also appeared in movies in the 1970s, in black and white format.
