Plot: A romantic comedy about a three-way relationship a man and two women. Ranjan Kudian Balassammulge Samboo Pathi Uhondiran aka Rambo is considered “unlucky” as he died the day his father was born. His mother falls ill and he leaves her ailing mother, believing that his life is under enchantment. Years later, Rambo works as a taxi driver in the morning and a bouncer at night. His two women, Katija (Samantha) and Kanmani (Nayantara), who have polar opposite personalities, fall in love with him. He befriends Kanmani (Nayanthara) by day and Katija (Samantha) by night. As fate would have it, they both propose to him at the same time on the same day and he accepts both. The rest of the story is how he deals with relationships and the drama about his two girlfriends. occupies part of He hovers around beautiful women until reality hits him, in which he is forced to choose between the two.

Performances; It is Vijay Sethupathi, Samantha, and Nayanthara who are steering the ship thanks to their terrific performances. So allow me to address some of their pressing inquiries. Nayanthara does indeed appear lovely. Samantha seems seductive. The main three actors really put out powerful performances, and the movie looks terrific. The three actors were hilarious, and the comic parts flow perfectly. In Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal, Redin Kingsley was the star and the best actor. Be on the lookout for a moment in the second half where he attempts to persuade a woman to leave her home. The cricketer Sreesanth, who plays Samantha’s boyfriend, does a fantastic job and manages to wow the audience in the brief performance.

Direction/Technical Side; Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal writes Vignesh Shivan everywhere. Staging, comedy, and a flawed concept creep in when you least expect it. The director is full of confidence. In one scene, a sidekick tells Vijay Sethupathi that he has the nefarious task of chasing two women at once. And we agree. Anirudh’s background music is the soul of the film, with instrumental versions of the songs Naan Pizhai and Two Two Two playing in my head long after the film ends. The score for the near-climactic wedding scene with Nadaswaram is also a feast for our ears. Both cinematography and enhancement are easy because there’s not much room for experimentation. Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal has some morally flawed concepts and digs deep into them to make your head spin. It’s also kind of a bunch of his WhatsApp transfers put together. We see platonic love between the trio, characters explaining what the “curse” means, and random social messages about people with intellectual disabilities… but I think Rambo is lucky in this world It’s all stitched together just to make it so. What we’re missing here is the real conflict and complexity that comes with a threesome relationship. Just when things are expected to take a serious turn, Sivan waters it down with a humorous take. His treatment might be fine in a rom-com genre movie, but some scenes could be incredibly written in a way that audiences can relate to. The film puts so much emphasis on “entertainment elements” such as songs, stars, and jokes that even when we are laughing, it seems like a separate part rather than the humor that comes out of the film’s premise. increase.

Verdict ; Even when we are laughing, it feels like a different component rather than the humor that arises from the film’s concept since the movie places so much focus on “entertainment features” like music, stars, and jokes. Overall, Kaathuvakkula Rendu Kadhal is a one-time watch!
