Gist of the Story
Iravin Nizhal follows its protagonist down a torturous journey littered with memories of a past that is even darker than the present and that he must confront. It centers on the life of an orphan boy and his struggle to overcome obstacles.
Plot
The storyline of Iravin Nizhal centers on a man and his dark, frightening existence, which has always turned the tables on him. Nandu (Parthiepan) is a man who encounters failure and disappointment on a regular basis. The way that different women effect his profession and character also comes across in the movie, which follows his life from the age of 5 to 50. In “Iravin Nizhal,” Nandhu, a man attempting to survive in this harsh society, is seen at various stages of his life, from when he was a young child to when he is on the run. Why is Nandhu eluding capture? “Iravin Nizhal” provides the explanations for why the father’s daughter left him.
Performance
Another excellent performance from Parthiban is delivered. Varalakshmi, in particular, is outstanding during her brief appearance as Premakumari, the mistress of a phony godman. Both Sai Priyanka Ruth and Brigida Saga excel in their roles as Parvathi and Chilakkama, respectively. Both Anandha Krishnan, who portrays Parthiban in the movie when he was 30 years old, and Chandru, who plays the part of Parthiban when he is 18 years old, are excellent.
Direction/Technical Side
It’s billed as the first non-linear, single-shot movie ever made. Parthiban has experience with several types of media, including screenplays, dialogue, music, and editing. He has very skillfully illustrated the challenges of filmmaking and how the end product is admirable. The music of A.R. Rahman is simply amazing. Whether it’s his songs or his background score, the music significantly raises the bar for the movie. It is without a doubt the movie’s greatest asset. With this movie, Parthiban paved the way for other directors to use the single-shot approach to try out unusual storytelling. There are countless instances where you are left in awe of how seamlessly the scenes change from one era to another.
Verdict; Iravin Nizhal by Parthiban is a film that deserves praise for its innovative production. He has expertly described the difficulties in filmmaking and the merits of the final product. Watch it to appreciate its technical skill and creativity!
