Detailed Plot

Benjamin, also known as Kartheekeyan Santhanam, or Benji, is a kindhearted man from North Chennai. Together with his companion Razzaq (Vada Chennai Anbu), he seeks to mentor and assist young guys in his area. Benji, a young boy, helps other boys struggling with poverty and crime by using their athletic abilities to improve their lives. He recognizes that politicians and drug dealers exploit the helplessness of these boys, so he decides to become a mentor and help them lead better lives. Despite their struggles, Benji’s dedication to helping these boys overcome their challenges makes him a beacon of hope for the boys in need.

Benji’s brother Joseph, a cunning opportunist, is trying to help slum children. However, Joseph is using pot and selling narcotics, working closely with local crime legend Kiruba. Benji warns Joseph not to hang out with Kiruba, the heroin dealer, but he ignores his advice. Kiruba, who uses local schoolchildren as clients, decides to launch a new drug-related business, leading to Benji’s brother’s downfall. Benji, a potential helper, is killed by the lads, and Kiruba uses Joseph as a scapegoat to avoid punishment. After receiving a jail sentence for Benji’s murder, Joseph is freed and plotting retaliation. He realizes Kiruba is unbeatable and seeks someone to persuade him to do retribution on his behalf. Joseph’s gaze lands on Selva, a gifted athlete whose football career halted after Benji’s death. The main plot of Fight Club revolves around his manipulation of Selva in order to exact revenge on Kiruba.

Artistes’ Performances

The main focus of Vijay Kumar’s performance is his body language and the movement he must accomplish, which he does with skill. The supporting cast, which includes Shankar Das, Avinash, and Kaarthekeyen Santhanam, is also advantageous to the movie. The unvarnished performances, given by relatively unknown performers, serve to establish these characters as real people who we may see in our own communities.

Direction / Technical Side

At the moment, violence on screen is a hot commodity in Tamil movies. Lokesh Kanagaraj has decided to launch Fight Club under his recently established production company, G Squad. Drugs are the common opponent of both Abbas A. Rahmath’s Fight Club and Lokesh’s flicks. To begin with, we are immediately inundated with information and subplots, making it difficult for us to focus and comprehend what is going on. The performances come in second to the film’s technical mastery as its greatest asset. Not only is the action in Fight Club realistic and natural enough to win over fans of the genre, but it also seems like an extension of that sequence.

Director Abbas R. Rahmath used the linked plot to establish a strong first half. The first half’s dark humor was effective and made many chuckle. But because there isn’t enough substance to fully develop the plot, the script becomes chaotic in the second part. On the other hand, “Fight Club” is technically sound. The people who work behind the camera in Fight Club are the real heroes; Govind Vasantha’s soundtrack, Kripakaran’s superb editing, and cinematographer Leon Britto’s flawless shots combine to produce this one of the best technical efforts in recent memory. Sadly, the trite storyline and obvious conclusion prove to be spoilers.

Verdict;

Fight Club is a film with a complex plot and a strong first half, with director Abbas R. Rahmath using dark humor. Overall; Fight Club is one of the best technical efforts in recent times. However, the trite storyline and obvious conclusion are spoilers, making it difficult for viewers to focus and comprehend the story. Only for Action Movie Fans!
