Malayankunju, the survival drama starring Fahadh Faasil, is getting ready for a major theatrical debut. The second trailer was made available today. A deeper look into Ani Kuttan’s (Fahad) life as a commoner from a tiny town is provided in the trailer. Malayankunju, in which Rajisha Vijayan co-stars, is billed as a character-focused survival thriller in which Fahadh’s protagonist finds himself imprisoned in a cramped environment following a landslide.
The movie’s makers have changed their minds and opted to go with a theatrical release instead of the original plan for a direct-to-OTT distribution. Malayankunju will soon appear on television, according to the film’s creators. The Malayalam film is expected to be released on July 22 or 29. After two years, Fahadh Faasil is making a comeback on the big screen. Trance, the actor’s most recent release, was a superhit. Despite the language barrier, the movie got favorable reviews and praise from viewers. The acclaimed director Mahesh Narayanan, who will also be manning the lens for the survival thriller, wrote the script for “Malayankunju,” which is being directed by Sajimon Prabhakar.
