Plot; The film begins with Link (Sara Ali Khan) fleeing after being chased by several men. But wait, this Tufan Sekdi is no damsel in distress. She is courageous, her will is strong, and she never chops her words. After a ‘broken glass’ rampage at her train station and a failed attempt to elope with her lover Sajid Ali Khan (Akshay Kumar) piles up, Link’s grandmother (Seema Biswas) You decide to hook her or cheat her. Rinku is forced to marry Vishu (Dhanush), an elderly medical student from Tamil Nadu who is about to be engaged to the dean’s daughter, Mandy. After the marriage, Vish returns to his college hostel in New Delhi with his new bride Link. A series of incidents causes him to slowly develop feelings for her. However, his love story takes an “Atrange” turn when he is plagued by unexpected conflicts.
Dhanush and Sara Ali Khan remain the soul and heart of the film, with AR Rahman’s music (more on that later) playing the role of blood and bringing the film to life. Dhanush owns every frame he throws into every scene with a strong conviction. There is a beautifully written scene where he speaks in Tamil without subtitles, but he can understand what he is trying to say without speaking the language. Despite Dhanush’s prodigious presence, it’s Sara Ali Khan’s visible efforts that have ignited hope that with the right script she could do better. was not only Rinku’s effortless physical traits, but also the modulation of her accent, which she expertly controlled. Unfortunately, in all the acting and drama, Akshay Kumar remains the weakest link of the three. It’s just too mundane from someone who’s set it too high.Ashish Verma, who plays the part of Dhanush’s friend, is a waste and what a talent he has to handle untapped comedy here. It is even more annoying because I saw that
Verdict; It’s a different method of handling a complicated love triangle. It does slow down towards the middle, but it’s not a predicted slowdown. There is hardly anyone in Indian cinema who could emote as effectively as Dhanush can. He is amazing in every scene. We have an original tale, an engaging cast, a catchy soundtrack, and some excellent acting.
