As previously reported, actor Arya is slated to collaborate with director Muthaiya on a film. On Saturday, the movie’s producers unveiled the first look poster and announced the title of the movie: Kathar Basha Endra Muthuramalingam. Drumsticks Productions and Zee Studios are supporting the movie. The movie seems to be an entertaining rural action picture, a style for which Muthaiya is well-known. Siddhi Idnani, who most recently appeared in Gautham Menon’s Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu, will play the female lead in the movie. With Muthaiya, who most recently helmed Viruman, Arya will be working together for the first time.
Arya, who has a beard, is pictured seated on a chair in the first look poster wearing a black shirt and dhoti. Rajinikanth’s Baashha persona is portrayed on the wall behind him. GV Prakash Kumar will write the soundtrack for the movie, and Velraj will be in charge of the photography.
