Gist of the Story

A medically ill food delivery man falls in love with Subbu, a housekeeper, whom he considers to be his entire universe. However, problems starts when both become involved in a case concerning the demise of an elderly woman.

Aneethi introduces us to the protagonist, Thirumeni (Arjun Das), a food delivery agent grappling with a psychological disorder. Thirumeni suffers from chronic obsessive-compulsive disorder, which triggers a “killing instinct” when he encounters mistreatment. The film takes an intriguing twist when Thirumeni falls in love with Subbu (Dushara Vijayan), a housekeeper in a luxurious home owned by an aggressive elderly woman. However, their lives take a dark turn when the elderly woman dies under mysterious circumstances, entangling Thirumeni and Subbu in a complex web of events. Artistes’ Performances

Aneethi boasts an ensemble cast that delivers exceptional performances, breathing life into the complex characters. After the intermission, the sequences with Aranthangi Nisha are a major disappointment, which is a drawback. The appearance of Vanitha Vijayakumar and Arjun Chidambaram also causes too much drama, which undermines the previous solid work. Aneethi benefits from strong technical elements that enhance the overall viewing experience. GV Prakash’s background score and songs contribute to the film’s atmosphere, heightening the emotional impact of key scenes. The music is a standout feature, with Prakash’s compositions complementing the storytelling. The editing could have been crisper, particularly in the second half, to maintain the film’s momentum and avoid unnecessary scenes.
