The upcoming projects for Jayam Ravi include another movie with “Jana Gana Mana” director Ahmed, as well as “Ponniyin Selvan 1,” “Agilan,” and “Jana Gana Mana.” Now, rumors abound that as part of his three-film contract with Screen Scene Media Entertainment Pvt Ltd, the production company responsible for movies like Sandakozhi 2, Thadam, Neeya, and Iruttu, Ravi will work on a family-friendly comedy with filmmaker Hari. The following film for Jayam Ravi is Agilan, written and directed by N Kalyana Krishnan, with whom he had collaborated on Boologam (2015). In addition to Priya Bhavani Shankar, Tanya Ravichandran, Chirag Jani, Hareesh Peradi, Harish Uthaman, Tarun Arora, and Madhusudhan Rao, who play significant roles, the movie is billed as an action drama.
Director Hari is making a comeback into Tamil cinema after a gap of four years. He last directed the film ‘Saami 2’ and now after the Arun Vijay starrer ‘Yaanai’, the director is reportedly planning to work with actor Jayam Ravi for a movie. According to reports, the director and actor are at initial stages of the talk for an upcoming project. An official confirmation regarding the same is awaited.
