A military doctor named Varun visits Chennai and becomes involved in the search for a missing girl. The rest of the story is about how Varun and six other people fight against the lords of human and organ trafficking.
Due in part to the way Sivakarthikeyan’s character has been constructed, Doctor begins on a mediocre note. It’s completely different from the man we’ve known for years, but once you get used to it, the movie is fantastic. If someone like Sivakarthikeyan appeared in the movie, did they ever smile? He doesn’t express himself much, which heightens the humor, and Redin Kingsley brilliantly balances him. Each of Redin’s phrases unquestionably causes you to laugh out loud. With his particular brand of Black humour, Nelson has effectively established himself in Tamil cinema.
The movie deals with child trafficking, sex slavery, and a servile family that is compelled to commit crimes, yet all of this somber subject matter is just a vehicle for clever comedy. Yes, given that this is a violent, dark movie, it is rather perilous. People are prepared to be burned alive, their thumbs are chopped off, and their necks are expertly cut… However, this movie manages to provide hilarious humor in inventive ways thanks to some excellent writing and unrestrained performances from performers like Redin Kingsley.
Even before the movie hit the screens, Anirudh’s music was complementing it and helped carry it to success. The mood is improved by the style the cinematographer and editor used to implement the visual narration, which keeps viewers interested throughout the entire film.
Thanks to some fantastic writing and unrestrained performances from the actors, this movie manages to provide hilarious humor in creative ways. A well made Comedy movie with good takeaway message.
