A farmer hell bent on a revolution locks horns with a powerful and greedy industrialist, who is responsible for the plight of farmers. Will he be able to grant his people the life they deserve?
After a break, Badri (Vijay Sethupathi) returns to his village of Pandooru. He runs for local body elections in an effort to make it the best in the nation. As the incumbent leader Nagabhushanam (Jagapathi Babu) withdraws from the race, Badri and his team are chosen by a unanimous vote. How does Badri alter the village? Why didn’t Nagabhushanam oppose Badri, and what are his plans? The main theme of the film is whether or not Badri succeeds in the end.
Vijay Sethupathi is a person who only accepts movies and parts if they give him challenging work. And once more, his performance was the star of the show. He has performed admirably while in his element. In addition to providing excellent support for Vijay’s character, Shruti Haasan also gave a strong performance. As per usual, Jagapathi Babu has gotten into the skin of his character and excelled as the con artist and businessman. Sai Dhanshika performed admirably in the movie as well.
Technically speaking, Imman’s music and Ramji’s graphics are both adequate. We wished the movie had a more focused plot and was a little bit more interesting. Laabam contains a lot of brand-new items overall, but the packaging is unfinished, and the treatment is antiquated.
Review; Predictable but made with some good social intentions. Watch it for Vijay Sethupathi. We hoped the film had a more fascinating and narrowly defined plot.
