Gist of the Story
Priya, a middle-class woman, values simplicity in her relationships with Manu. They share a dream, but Manu’s goal is to give Priya the life she deserves. Despite being put in jail, they find comfort in each other and exchange energy. Despite being separated by prison bars, they must decide if they can continue this connection.
Detailed Plot
Since it’s a romance drama, the two main characters, Manu (Rakshit Shetty) and Priya (Rukmini Vasanth), dominate the entire picture. The film begins with Manu operating a high-end vehicle valued at more than a crore at top speed while his lover is seated next to him. We quickly discover that Manu is not a spoiled brat but rather a driver for a wealthy businessman. Their one and only aspiration is to acquire a modest home close to a beach where they can live happily ever after. However, they must first locate a rental home that is within their price range. Shortly after, we learn about a hit-and-run case involving the real spoiled brat—the son of his business mogul boss. To protect the son of his boss, Manu voluntarily accepts responsibility for his actions. The guarantee that everything will be taken care of, including plenty of money and a lawyer who will get him out of the matter as soon as possible, comes at a cost, though. When everything is going well and slowly, there is a chance that Manu will be granted bail and that the boss will pass away from natural causes. “Sapta Sagaradaache Ello – Side A” is what comes next.
Artistes’ Performances
Rakshit is a skilled actor who gives Manu a certain swagger and fragility. Rakshit Shetty’s portrayal of a lover boy evokes strong emotions and creates a persona that every girl aspires to: someone who loves passionately and without reservation. However, it takes a fantastic performer like Rukmini to have you cheer for Priya. Rukmini vividly captures the frustration of a young lady thrust into a court dispute over a decision made by someone she cares about. Her love grows despite their separation and the obstacles in their path. actor-director Ramesh Indira for his profoundly moving performance and for giving the movie the necessary frantic edge. While Gopal Deshpande, Sharath Lohithashwa, and others are also excellent in their performances, one could hope for more from them in Sapta Sagaradaache Ello Side B.
Direction / Technical Side
Sapta Sagaradaache Ello – Side A begins slowly as it introduces the characters and creates the environment they live in. It’s rather straightforward: the two are in love, and they have a typical common man dream. Because of an instant slight setback in life, the male protagonist finds himself in a precarious circumstance while holding out hope that he may one day accomplish his ambition. The typical drama of the hardships an accused person experiences while serving his sentence drags out in the second part. Rakshit Shetty and Rukmini manage to hold the audience’s attention during the problematic second half because to their on-screen chemistry.
Although there is a plot that drives the Manu-Priya story from the background, Sapta Sagaradaache Ello isn’t very plot-heavy. While Priya longs for peace and the sound of the waves while he naps at her side, Manu loves speed and the adrenaline of accomplishment. Early on, it becomes clear that they are both hopeless romantics, albeit in very different ways. Despite the fact that SSE centers on the criminal underworld, the director has resisted the need to include pointless commercial components. Hemanth Rao gains complete control over his narrative and orchestrates the action through brief moments or tales, letting each of his actors’ expressions convey the main idea. The appropriate notes in the proper locations are used in Charan’s music to unleash energy. Songs offer value since they are included in the movie. In order to portray each scene on screen, Advaitha collects the layers that are concealed within it. What sets “Sapphire Sagaradaache Ello” apart is the way it embraces its imperfections and turns them into strengths.
Verdict;
The overall impression about the film was appealing but not outstanding. The initial half of the script was well-written. The second half, though, was very much a lag. Despite its flaws, the movie nonetheless manages to hold viewers’ attention and make an impact. Overall; Sapphire Sagaradaache Ello is a visceral and emotional journey that develops at its own pace.
