Fans of Thalapathy Vijay have long wished to see their favorite actor collaborate with director Vetrimaaran because the latter has already given the star a one-liner. One of the most respected directors in Tamil cinema, Vetrimaaran is recognized for his critically lauded works like “Visaranai” and “Asuran.” Although the idea of Vijay working with Vetrimaaran is intriguing, it is uncertain whether such a partnership will materialize. The film starring Thalapathy Vijay is definitely on and will be called “Thalapathy 69,” according to director Tamizh, who has long worked with Vetrimaaran. Vijay and Vetrimaaran’s working together has long been the subject of rumors. Vetrimaaran said in 2019 that he had spoken with Vijay about a potential collaboration, but nothing emerged of it.
It is well known that Vetrimaaran produces excellent movies that are both financially and critically successful. There would surely be a lot of excitement and enthusiasm among fans if Vijay and Vetrimaaran worked together. In preparation for the March 31, 2023, release of Viduthalai Part 1, which stars Vijay Sethupathi and Soori in the key roles, Vetrimaaran is now working on the film. And he began work on “Vaadivaasal,” which stars Suriya; the minor schedule is now complete. Bulls and Jallikattu both appear in the film. On the other hand, Thalapathy Vijay is now filming for “Leo” under the direction of Lokesh Kanagaraj. He’s supposed to collaborate with Atlee on “Thalapathy 68.”
