Gist of the Story
A middle-aged middle-class couple discovers they are following in the family’s footsteps. Will their two adult sons accept and react well to this news?
Plot
Elango (RJ Balaji), a 25-year-old guy, is astonished to learn that his mother, who is in her middle age, is expecting her third kid at a time when his imminent marriage is planned. His relationship with his girlfriend Sowmya is put at risk as he struggles to process the news. Middle-class Elango’s parents begin to feel self-conscious about the pregnancy as they become a topic of conversation in their social circles. Elango and his younger brother Anirudh struggle to handle the circumstance.
Performance
The movie Veetla Vishesham is genuinely Urvashi’s. In the movie, she doesn’t say much, but it’s indicative of the function that Krishnaveni plays in a lower middle-class family. The actress is outstanding in how she conveys a great deal of innocence and maternal affection without ever coming across as naive or stupid. RJ Balaji’s dialogue and Sathyaraj’s body language are the film’s main sources of humor. In the comedic scenes, RJ Balaji is hilarious. Aparna Balamurali gives a cakewalk performance that demonstrates why she is among the top actresses in the business. The performances of Sathyaraj and Urvashi, however, carry the entire movie.
Direction/Technical Side
Instead of providing a frame-for-frame reproduction, the film’s directors have attempted to showcase a unique work. In several parts, it surpasses the original due to the work put into composing it. The text portrays how the incidents involving the neighbors unfold in the story’s setting of the railway quarters. The second half is better than the first since it features several powerfully moving passages that will resonate with viewers. The movie occasionally veers into sentimentality and predictability, but the creators successfully weave all of these aspects into a pleasant whole. Both the editing and the cinematography are purely practical. Both humorous and emotional passages feature music by Girish Gopalakrishnan that fits the topic.
Verdict; The movie Veetla Vishesham consistently makes viewers laugh and makes sure that their emotions aren’t taken for granted by maintaining a high emotional quotient. RJ Balaji & Team’s “feel-good entertainer”
