Gist of Story ; Dharma is a recluse who spends his time working in a factory rather than interacting with others. A tiny Labrador named Charlie completely transforms Dharma’s life. Dharma discovers his life’s purpose and grows as a person by spending time with tiny Charlie.
Plot; Dharma (Rakshit Shetty) lives alone in Mysuru and works in a plant that makes vehicles. He was wounded by a loss he experienced as a child. He has created barriers around himself and is committed to carrying out a predetermined schedule that includes his job, two idlis, drink, and smokes. Charlie, a Labrador puppy who fled the care of a cruel breeder and is now attempting to survive on the streets, however, disturbs Dharma’s lifeless existence. After a terrible accident pushes Charlie into Dharma’s care, a series of events—including Dharma’s unsuccessful attempts to place Charlie for adoption—lead to his realization of Charlie’s undying love for him. Dharma starts to come to life because to Charlie’s affection. They soon become an unbreakable team. When Charlie was given the fatal Hemangiosarcoma diagnosis, this short-lived camaraderie faced a new challenge. Since Charlie is running out of time, Dharma decides to grant Charlie’s wish of playing in the snow by taking him along on a motorcycle trip across the nation. What results from this is an emotional roller coaster trip that will undoubtedly cause both laughter and tears among the audience. While the audience will undoubtedly join Dharma and Charlie on this emotional journey, some of them may think it lasts a little too long.
Performances; The movie’s lifeblood and protagonist is Charlie. And some of the cutest and happiest scenes we have recently witnessed were performed by this canine actor. Every wide-eyed look, every hug, and every other amusing response are so endowed with charm. Rakshit Shetty makes his act look easy. The majority of the movie is focused on him and his surroundings, but he still manages to keep us interested. Despite having a little part, Bobby Simha gives a really realistic and heartfelt performance. Best efforts are made by Raj B Shetty and Sangeetha Sringeri. Everyone will relate to the poignant sequences with Charlie Sheen and Rakshit Shetty since they were so well-done.
Direction/Technical Side; A complex screenplay that avoids using common elements in the first half is written by director Kiranraj and the story department. A happy, heartwarming tale of a canine and a human was successfully told by director Kiranraj K. Kiranraj, though, could have taken more care to write a clear screenplay. The cinematography is excellent, particularly during the climax. With his gorgeous background score, Nobin Paul elevates several passages. The core of 777 Charlie is music, and the tunes are new. The attempts made to achieve the same effect in Hindi rather than simply providing precise translations of the songs deserve praise. DOP The film’s essence is expertly captured by Arvind Kashyap. It’s wonderfully depicted how Charlie enters Dharma’s house, which at first appears to be old and rustic like his inner personality. More than five different locales are visited in the movie, and they all come across beautifully on screen.
Verdict; Director Kiranraj K. 777 successfully conveyed the happy, uplifting story of a dog and a human. The adventure of Dharma and Charlie is amusing and moving. This roller coaster of emotions is heartfelt in the right places.
